1.What is the expected lifespan of the string?
String durability is affected by usage and maintenance.
Before use, inspect the string and rail for dirt or debris. Keep the string and cables regularly waxed, and apply only a very thin layer of wax to the rail. Avoid applying excessive wax, as it may leave residue inside the trigger box, potentially causing dry firing and resulting in serious damage to the crossbow and injury to the user.
With proper maintenance, the string can last for approximately 300-400 shots.
We recommend waxing every 10-15 shots.
Since shooting conditions vary, we advise users to apply wax as needed based on actual conditions (e.g., observing if the string appears fuzzy or frayed) to ensure optimal performance and prolong string life.
2.What maintenance does my cocking device need?
After each use, please check if the cocking device is functioning properly and ensure there are no issues with its string.
After use, please store the cocking device back in its box and keep it properly stored to maintain its functionality and extend its service life.
